FAFSA Graduation Requirement 

Completion of the FAFSA is now a requirement for graduation in the State of Illinois. Federal Financial Aid forms are available for completion at www.fafsa.gov.  Parents and students are required to use their tax information from 2019 while completing the form. Those choosing not to complete it, will be required to complete the ISBE Waiver Form and submit it to Ms. McFarland (kmcfarland@d230.org).

Please remember students and families that you don’t have to pay anyone to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  If you need any assistance, there are numerous free workshops throughout the state where students and families can go to fill out the FAFSA.  ISAC has a calendar of such workshops, including financial aid presentations and other outreach events, on our website: http://www.isac.org/students/before-college/outreach-activitiesevent-calendar/
